ProAssets: Inventory Management Software

ProAssets has been developed by ProGen, a leading educational software development company based in Somerset West, South Africa.
ProAssets is largely based on the asset control systems that ProGen owner, Jackie Brear, designed for Rossing Uranium and Soekor, the oil exploration group. He knew that if the design worked for such large and complex companies, it could admirably serve Educational facilities.

  • Each asset can be allocated an “Asset Life”, After that life has expired annual reports will indicate that one should budget for its replacement.

  • Sold – including purchaser and reference details
  • When capturing assets any missing item such as area, location etc can be entered on the fly.
  • Numerous reports are available that can target specific areas, locations, assets types etc.
  • Each report provides an ALL asset or range selection.
  • Data can be imported from Excel or exported to Excel.
  • A sophisticated stock take system allows one to do a stock take of the entire school in one afternoon.
  • Facilities exist for a user to work at home and import their work into the central database.

Ongoing costs after the first year

ProAssets Annual Runtime licence with a 10% escalation per annum. The runtime licence entitles your school to unlimited hot line support during school hours and all enhancements to the ProAssets software.
